MMDA Traffic Control Empty MMDA Traffic Control

Post by slider Sun May 09, 2010 12:33 pm

Hello!

1. Where do we find the list of violations including fines/penalties (including SEMINARS?) so that we could print one and put it in our cars? Are there really seminars?

2. How do to complain an mmda traffic enforcer to your office? What would happen if you complain the apprehender? Is it worth your time?
eg. A friend got caught "Overloading" because they had 3 persons on the front seats. The car is an AUV by the way (revo to be specific).

3. What is the basis for each violation? What is considered SWERVING or OVERLOADING??

4. If you could add any other information here regarding traffic issues please do.

Thanks!! Smile

Round-about (or Rotonda) Instead of the Dangerous U-TURNs
by MandM Yesterday at 11:25 am

Dear MMDA Chairman,

I am now abroad here in Europe. Dito maayos ang traffic. Kumpleto ang mga road markings at signages to guide road users of the road conditions ahead. Ilang metro pa lang (usually 150 meters) before the change of road condition, (like if the road ahead is curving or getting narrowed, or approaching pedestrian crossing) ay may properly sized warning signages na at appropriate speed signs. May Manual Guide at CD. Driving is WATCHING What is Ahead.

In addition to all that have been stated, all of those will be nothing if the laws will not imposed.

huwag na kayong magtaka dahil sa palagay ko mas nakararami jan sa mga enforcers na yan tambay lang sa kanto. it was happened to me when i went back to manila. i was driving from naia going to domestic road and i was stopped coz he said i was swerving from far 2nd right lane going to far right lane bawal daw yun. i told him that ive never knew it was a violation maybe only in the pilipins. i asked the violation code and couldnt answer it. hindi pa nakikita ang drivers license ko binanatan na ako na i have to pick up my license sa makati and cost me P400. then i showed him my license and it was california license. i told him give me a ticket or you can have my license coz im going back to states anyway but instead he negotiates with me and asked for P200. he called his supervisor and talked to me and said boss bawal po ginawa mo?? i told the sup. that i am a balikbayan and never knew it was a violation so same shit ask for lagay.
