Dedicated motorcycle lanes are not the solution. Rather, the proper education with regards traffic rules, road ethics, & correct driving habits should be imposed prior to the granting of a driver's license. Just like many drivers of 4-wheeled vehicles, many motorcyclists get to legally drive even without comprehensive knowledge of traffic rules & safety.

Unless proper driver education is made a strict prerequisite by the LTO, there'll be no end to road accidents caused by "uneducated", irresponsible, & undisciplined drivers.

I agree with Paul Lim E.Y. They should be educated on how to use the streets. You will see them criss-crossing through traffic and gambling with their lives (and their passengers) by cutting fast-moving vehicles. Not to mention those going counter-flow, crossing a red light and using the sidewalks. The government should act now and not wait for the problem to get worse.
